Yes, It's Been a Little While

Hi Everyone! I hope you all have enjoyed your Sunday. I'm baking a cake as I'm typing up this blog. It will not be the famous "Betty Weeks cake" but it will be good. My mother in law made the best cakes. And, that's a fact!

Yes, it has been a while since I have posted on my blog. I'm praying that will not happen again. I am slowly but surely getting into a routine. Now that Terry is retired and home more we do a lot together. In fact, a couple of weeks ago I joined a wellness center with him. Terry was already going there some and he asked if I would go and check it out. He knows how I feel about gyms. Gyms are nice for some people, I'm just not some of those people. So, I did check it out and it has all the things; free weights, treadmills, ellipticals, resistance training. Its pretty nice. I still do my pilates and yoga at home.

We have been busy this weekend. Which many of my weekends are busy. Friday night I helped a good friend decorate the church for her nephew's wedding shower. Saturday was the shower and we went to Greenville with Terry's brother to have dinner. We ate a place named Hook 'n Reel. It was different for sure, but really good. An experience to say the least. Then, today was church and of course, my cake😊

Before I go I want to share the outfit I wore to the wedding shower yesterday. Its a simple sundress from Loft. (size small) Perfect for a hot summer day like the ones we have been having here in NC. I paried it with some cute platform wedges I got for my birthday from my daughter. (size 6.5) These shoes are true to size, which is wonderful for ordering online.
