Saturday Getaway

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! It was cold again this weekend, but we did get to see some sunshine and that always makes me feel good.

Saturday, Terry and I went New Bern for day. We like to go to the waterfront and walk. On this day though, it was COLD!! If the wind wasn't blowing so bad we could have stayed longer. We ate a nice quiet place called Morgan's Traven and Grill. You can check it out here.

We did walk some and ended up at an antique store. Terry loves to go in those places. Me, not so much. Although I do find some things, but more often than not I don't. Terry loves it and it makes me happy to spend time with him so I always go. The place was called Franklin's Antique Mall. It is located on Front Street across from The Courtyard Hotel. It was very clean and organized. I really do not like going in these places when they are a mess. Sometimes these "antique malls" are just junk stores. You know what they say though, somebody else's junk is another man's treasure.

The outfit I have on is a casual one. Great for walking. I wore my nude Amazon Jean Co booties. They have the memory foam in them and are so comfortable. They run TTS. I did not find this style exactly but I did find these. I purchased mine a couple of years ago. My jeans and sweater are from Pink Lily. The sweaters run a little big. I have on a small, I really could have wore a x-small, but it worked fine. The jeans are TTS, these are a size 3. Pink Lily usually runs a special on your first order.
