Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend. It was extremely cold this weekend here in NC. I am ready for warmer weather for sure.
This weekend I did a little organizing. Not much because I don't think I'm very good at it. Where other people have that strength, your girl here is not one of them. It seems like i am making a mess more than getting anything organized. Plus, I get distracted easily. I think it would be easier just to hire someone to do it. Lol!!
Isn't it just like us, I know especially for me, to make a bigger mess than what I started out with. Its the same in our walk with God. If we (I) do not invite him in to EVERY aspect of my life I just make a mess. Usually it will take a lot more clean up than if I would have started out with seeking God to begin with. I definitely do not like cleaning up a mess, especially the ones I make on my own.
I get caught in the my head sometimes, you know; my own thoughts. I try to do things on my own, thinking that God is too busy or this situation is too small to bother Him with. I mean, its just kitchen cabinets, how hard could it be???? God wants in on all our messes. Even kitchen cabinets. Nothing is too big or small for God. I learned in 2020 that God is concerned about all things, ALL THINGS, that concern me. Big things like wanting my family and friends saved and on their way to heaven, to cleaning out closets and kitchen cabinets.
The way we get close to God is thru Jesus and prayer. We can do nothing apart from Him. Pastor Jeff spoke on it yesterday at church. So whatever it is that concerns you today, bring it God girlfriend. I promise you He cares and He will help you. He is in the clean up mess business and He is VERY good at. I can testify to that one.
Y'all have a good Monday. Thanks for stopping by and visiting. Please leave a comment or share this with someone. Subscribe to the email listing so you don't miss a post.
