Well, I do believe I had one of the BEST Thanksgiving holidays in a very, very long time. I got to spend it with the people that matter most. A simple and plain holiday & it was ABSOLUTLEY perfect.
Thursday, I spent the day outside decorating the house. Putting out my garden flags, door wreaths and miniature trees for the front porch. I also bought a few potted poinsettias for a garden basket on my back "step". It all turned out really nice and put me in a better mood.
To tell the truth, I was not going to decorate at all. I'm going through a sticky ugly patch of life right now. So, I was a little down but I got outside Thursday and realized I still have so much to be thankful for. God gave me that beautiful day and I was NOT going to waste it on being all sad.
So, now I have my house decorated I am in a much better mood. Our surroundings also effect our moods and mindsets. Surround yourself with positive things. Get up and get out! We cannot always change our situations, because believe you me, I wouldn't be in the mess I'm in now if I had my choice; but we can change our attitudes and how we look at things. Find the positive in your life. There is ALWAYS something to be thankful for!

I love that tree girlfriend!!! It is soooo good to have found you & reconnected! You may or may not remember me. But, we went to school together at Brogden & then our sophomore year at Southern Wayne. I hung out with Shannon Faircloth & Angel Coghill a lot at Brogden. I was Sharon Morton back then. I'm so very sorry to read that you're experiencing life issues. It sounds like a divorce. If so, Bless you girl! It happens to many of us. Give it to God & let Him handle it for you! Best of luck in whatever it is though. God Bless You Dawn!! You ain't changed a bit!!!
